Discover Lunar New Year food traditions from around the world. A diverse panel of cultural ambassadors will share their unique food traditions and how their Lunar New Year celebrations evolve over time. Celebrate the rich diversity of this global holiday through food, family, and shared heritage.

Meet our Panelists:

  • Martin Yan, Host of award-winning PBS-TV cooking show Yan Can Cook

  • Janice Chuang, Artist and Illustrator based in San Francisco

  • Vinh G. Nguyen, Managing Artistic Director at Chopsticks Alley Art, a non-profit Southeast Asian arts organization based in San Jose.

Cost: Free with Filoli admission; Reservation required.

Tickets are non-refundable. There is a $10 rescheduling fee for each ticket. Filoli is open, rain or shine, and does not issue refunds due to weather. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be photographed and/or filmed and give permission to use your likeness in promotional and/or marketing materials.
