Service Learning Project - Trail Stewards

Nestled against the Santa Cruz Mountains, Filoli’s nature trails are enjoyed by thousands of guests every year and are home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Join us for a trail stewardship project to clear trails of brush and obstacles so they are open and easy to navigate. We'll start the day with a guided hike and, after the project, all participants are welcome to stay and enjoy the gardens, including the sweeping views from Filoli's Bluebird Bar. 

This project is open to those 18 years and older and all experience levels.

Physical requirements include bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and the ability to carry 20 lbs. Be prepared for walking on uneven ground, a high level of physical activity, and exposure to poison oak.
