Complimentary Activity - Mushroom Hike

Intermediate Mushroom Hike - George Caughey, Mycological Society of San Francisco

This free hike is for the mushroom enthusiast interested in identifying the fungi fruiting on Filoli’s Nature Preserve. This 90-minute hike traverses 2-3 miles of uneven terrain including moderate hills. The trails are not stroller or wheelchair accessible. Bring water, warm layers, walking shoes, and an umbrella in the event of light rain. Heavy rain cancels the hike. Children 7 and older are welcome to attend. 

Hike is free but a Filoli general admission ticket is required. General admission tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the Visitor Center on the hike day. Check in for hike at the Visitor Center.
