Service Learning Project - Bulbs!

Tulip season is months away, but bulb season is happening now! On November 1 & 5, join the Horticulture team as they embark on the journey to plant thousands of tulips throughout the Formal Garden. On November 3, help pack and plant some of Filoli's famous tulip bulbs in preparation for their sale in the Clock Tower Shop. During the educational break, learn all about the wide variety of bulbs, as well as how to plant and store them in your own garden and home.

This project is open to those 18 years and older and all experience levels. Participants under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Physical requirements include bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and the ability to carry 20 lbs.
